10 2. Corporate social responsibility 2.1. A brief outline of the CSR Policy of the Company 2.1.1. Policy The Company will help enhance the quality of life of people belonging to the marginalised sections of society and volunteer its resources to the extent it can reasonably afford to Atul Foundation Trust (Atul Foundation) and (or) other entities under its umbrella. Atul Foundation will particularly undertake projects in and around the locations where the Company operates. 2.1.2. Programs and scope Atul Foundation will take up projects and | or carry out activities under three broad programs: i) Education and Empowerment, ii) Health and Relief and iii) Infrastructure and Conservation with varied scopes of work. i) Education and Empowerment a) Encourage sports b) Establish and | or support colleges c) Establish and | or support schools d) Establish and | or support vocational institutes e) Promote integrated development of tribal areas ii) Health and Relief a) Assist during natural calamities b) Enhance rural hygiene and sanitation c) Establish medical care centres d) Establish mobile medical care facilities e) Organise medical camps iii) Infrastructure and Conservation a) Develop and | or maintain rural amenities b) Develop and | or maintain rural utilities c) Promote use of renewable resources d) Protect environment e) Restore sites of historical importance 2.2.
